Leagues
The club plays in a number of leagues. Members who like to play in a slightly more serious,
competitive manner can participate in the following:

LTA League
Separate summer and winter leagues give all year round match play. There are separate leagues
for men and women. Each league normally involves 4,5 or 6 matches against other Sussex clubs
with some matches being played at home and some away. Teams of 4 players (2 pairs of 2)
play 2 doubles matches each. Each match is the best of 3 sets with tie breaks at 6-6.

Horam League
More relaxed that the LTA league, many members find out if competitive play is for them by playing
in the Horam League. Matches against other Sussex Clubs are played on Monday evenings across the
summer. 3 men and 3 women make up a team of 6 who play one match each of women’s doubles,
mixed doubles and men’s doubles. Matches are best of 3 sets with tiebreaks at 6-6. If you want
